Hi folks,
My web searches have been pretty weak recently, i must ba asking the wrong questions, so I thought I would ask you folks.
Recently I put Vista x64 on my PC, and I love it. It has not crashed yet, after 2 months of using it, and I have a dual-boot machine with XP on the PO as well.
What I have not found online is what I foiund tons of when I moved to XP from windows 3.1 in 2002 (yes, that's when I moved). I found tons of online reference articles, with massive tips and tricks sections, how to customize the OS, tweaks, freeeware ad-ins, replacements for things like Task Manager, etc, plus a good basic article to tell me about how the OS works.
But, I can't seem to find the same stuff about Vista. So many of the articles and reviews are filled with "I hate vista", or "don't buy it until SP1 comes out", that a lot of little changes or way to make the OS more useful are not around.
The Vista tweaks sticky on the OS forum is a good one, but, it is more a performance/drivers/workarounds thread than one for users who want to manage and improve how they use the system.
I hope I have made myself clear about what I am looking for, and any help you have is greatly appreciated.
