they're stopping cars in the mixing bowl, mainly heading northbound it looks. for anyone that knows this area... that's insane, but needed. They're saying it was a sinlge shot.

Anyone in favor of cruel and unusual punishment?

Police say that at about 9:40 a.m. Friday, a man was shot and killed at the Four Mile Fork Exxon gas station in Fredericksburg, Va.

Spotsylvania County, Va., police Sheriff Ronald Knight confirmed that a man was shot at the gas station. The Virginia governor's office has confirmed that the victim died after he was taken to Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

Likely, they'll only catch this guy with information from a relative or coworker. There's not enough policement to have one everwhere he might shoot (which is about anywhere in the D.C. area).

I remember when Chandra Levy was missing, John Walsh mentioned thinking there is a serial killer loose in the D.C. area. I wonder if he changed tactics and this is him?

Man, and here I thought coming to DC for school would be an interesting experience.
What is really weird is that it seems as if this sniper is causing as much if not more paranoia than the Sept. 11th tragedy.

All of the police departments in a 40 mile radius have been working for the past week and they still seem somewhat stumped.
This makes me wonder how it's possible that the FBI caught Lee Harvey Oswald in a matter of hours.
Unless of course there was that second gunman on the grassy knoll then that would mean the shooter has been at large for the past few decades, but we wont discuss that any further

Interesting times we live in....
