Another shipping question/problem

Jesus is there any company that's worth a damn these days? God damn. I sold several paintball parts online, two boxes worth to the same user. Packed both perfectly. I see one delivered just fine on the 1st. However the tracking number for the second one says the last activity was in Dallas. I'm 3 hours from Dallas and the destination is in New York. It's the 5th and nothing has been changed or updated.

Who's the carrier? Combination shipping, like Fedex/USPS, DHL/Fedex can do that to you...

oops forgot to mention, USPS. nothing i can really do but wait i guess.. now fucking fleabay is holding my monies until this other package gets there and according to the last update it's several fucking states away.

USPS tracking system is non functional. Several ebay items I receive, their status was not updated several days after I actually receive it. If buyer applies for buyer's protection, UPS is the best option, their tracking is very accurate, routing might suck but tracking is accurate, they even have the exact time or delivery.

It is entirely possible they were delivered. Has the buyer complained?

I ship by USPS a lot, and most of the time their "tracking" is more or less OK. But there's been a couple instances where the item gets delivered when it should, but the tracking doesn't update until a week later.

Unless you use Express mail, there is no tracking system guaranteed for USPS.
contact the purchaser and find out what the status is from his point.

Did you get signature confirmation and/or insurance?

So deliver it yourself or put it on a passenger plane for buyer pickup

Maybe no guarantee, but lately the USPS tracking is vastly better than it's been.

agreed. it is better. the buyer has received one package but not the other.
