Another "searching for LCD to buy" thread...

My GF wants an LCD for her birthday. She's a moderate gamer, watches DVD, basic crap. I was looking at the HYUNDAI L90D+, seems awesome for the price, but a couple of the reviewers said they disliked it for watching movies (which she does quite a bit)

I know no matter how much I try to tell her about native resolution, she won't run the screen in the res it's supposed to. I don't need 8ms response times, I don't want to get the cheapest, or the most expensive. The Hyundai looks damn good for the price, how does it do in a non native resolution though?

thanks

What's your price range ? How large would you like the screen to be ?
I would go for Samsung SyncMaster 710N Black 17" LCD under 300$. 12ms which is good for seeing movies. Or, if I were her I would certainly like this Samsung SyncMaster 915N Black 19" LCD under 400$. Nirvana baby !

Pricr range is around $400, size 19". The LG's look sweet, they are expensive but NewEgg has a $150 rebate on the higher end ones. They had one for like 500 - 150. but it has 16.2 million colors. She might not notice, but I don't wanna get her a 6 bit one, even if it has no ghosting and is overall nice.
