I just noticed that "ta_ceti@hotmail.com" passed me in Mika's weekly stats today. I think that's a misspelling of "ta_seti@hotmail.com". Which shows you just how slow I'm going... 🙁

But the point is, check your clients!
 
On Mika's, it looks like a total of 1411 blocks have been submitted under this incorrect ID, and started showing up on January 8, 2001. If you added any new machines on that day, please check and make sure that they have the correct ID, as your work is not being properly credited to the Cavalry!


Edit: Just looked up this ID on Dnet and it looks like this account has actually been active there since December 18th, with a total of 4,250 blocks submitted...
 
I would have let this thread just die, but I just noticed that ta_ceti flushed again. The blocks are coming into the Round Robin from *.*.*.*.on.wave.home.com, if that's any help. This last flush was 347 blocks, and the last one before that was an even 500.
 
No, they're not. 🙁 Unless somebody wants to join Hotmail with that address and get a password, assuming it's not taken already. I checked and that e-mail is not on our team.

I'd try to join myself, but I'm not that good at BSing info I don't want Microsnot to know... 😉
 
I just signed up for that account with Hotmail and requested the password from Dnet. I'll have it join the Team and retire into the true Seti Cavalry as soon as I get the password email... 🙂
 
Update, ta_ceti@hotmail.com is now a member of Team AnandTech as The Seti Cavalry Reserves. 🙂

I have not yet retired this account into the regular Seti Cavalry account because I wanted to make sure that any blocks submitted to this ID after it is retired will still be credited to us properly...

Fard: Hope you haven't retired the account as they dumped 443 blocks this morning. Since it is now on the TeAm I'd just leave it be.
