Another right wing asshole from the Hoover institute trying to get us all killed. No California was not infected and does not have herd immunity.....

Interesting that the Hoover Institution was founded by Herbert Hoover, a President who famously failed to properly address the onset of the Great Depression. Maybe 'failing to understand the nature of a crisis' is its speciality?

He's postulating a theory based on testing Stanford is doing. Scientist are known sources of theories, sometimes they're wrong.
Right after reading this post I knew that I would not find you posting in this thread again.
Called it.

The bottom line as I see it is that the conservative mind infected with right wing ideology fears the collapse of the economy, the source of their personal status and security more than they fear the the deaths of millions of peons. Those peons need to keep working for them while they shelter.
Yea, I listen to Rush on my way back home for lunch, he's a source of bullshit information, every day he comes up with some utter crap as to why this pandemic is "not as bad" as it seems. Early on he was claiming it was just like a 'common cold", Jesus Christ, this asshole has millions of listeners and thet hear this shit. One big-time Trumper I work with, you can tell his lone source of info is Fox, one day he says "the flu kills 30K every year", no shit Sherlock, but that's spread across 6-7 months with zero isolation going on, can you mini-mind understand how bad COVID19 would be if we were all still mingling around each other?.

People have no problem keeping their children from watching porn or other adult content material because they are impressionable and lack judgment faculties. But you tell a conservative over 18 years of age what he or she is allowed to put in their minds or their bodies should still be societies business and they will throw an entitlement fit, and this, despite the fact that at 18 many many people are as emotionally immature and as easily misguided as any 2 year old. This is another of those places like the trimester abortion decision that have to be made based on an arbitrary age because there is no real test for when first a human and later a fully functioning human actually is present. Pro life people who would outlaw abortion should first be able to prove they are capable of rational judgment before they can vote.

Our culture is being destroyed by propaganda from conservative think tanks whose only reason for existing is to mold and control public opinion to maintain control by so called elites by providing the pseudo intellectual, pseudo scientific bull shit they invent and feed to right wing media. But these are not real elites because they are where they are by the gift of privilege, generally moneyed and racial.

Conservatives don't have a reflection in the mirror
They were told that when they look and don't bother, they will only see God. All that you need is to know that in your gut. The ego, that precious One Ring.

We need a volunteer MAGA state to see what happens if social distancing is ignored. Well as long as they can block anyone from that area from leaving into neighbouring states.

Sad but true -- the most difficult decision Trump will ever have to make will not be what is best for the American people. It will be what is best for the economy and his electability!!
