Not sure what you mean. That link sends me to newegg.

sent me to newegg. might be something on your computer.

NOW it is going to Newegg. It's not anything on my computer. I opened it in a fresh VM to make sure of that since I knew people here would accuse my computer even though I know it's perfectly clean.

It WAS going to C-Net's Shopping something or other with a link to that same Samsung monitor.

This is the link it redirected to:

http://lmcd-cnet.com.com/lcd-monito...g=offer&edId=1541&part=lmcd-cnet&merId=243708

i'm not accusing you, just throwing out ideas. i've never had DD redirect a link on me, but honestly, who knows.

It was odd. I even clicked it in this thread after I pasted it in here and it went to that shopper site and not newegg.

At least yesterday it wasn't taking 2 minutes to redirect like most days.

Just got another offers.cnet.com link as well from dynamitedata. The link stalled - had to close the window and click link again.

If this happens again, please grab as much data as you can and let us know. DD is supposed to be grabbing links so that AT can get referral credit, it's not supposed to be sending you somewhere else.

I've had it happen as well, but haven't bothered to report it.
They aren't getting rid of DD anytime soon.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

I won't allow talk of how to defeat the dynamite data referral system for anantech.

What do you guys think that this forum runs for free???

i never had a misdirect, only problem is when DD hangs and does not forward.
which has happened to me about 5 out of the hundreds of clicked links.
beyond that... meh works well enough...

Have the admins talked with DD about how their service is down so much and often faulty when it's up? I've been trying to put up with it but it got too annoying.

It usually works fine for me, and I've got crappy internet.

It has nothing to do at all with what internet service you use - it's all on DD and their servers.

Yeah. I have this happen on another website with links and it is so slow like here. Was quite annoying.

That's what DD does, it's basically a redirect that ends up taking you to the page.
(Unless you aren't getting to Newegg through that link, then there's a problem!)

yea... not getting to newegg... getting page cannot be displayed.
