@ RIT, it was horribly skewed the other way - at least in the tech and science colleges.

you go to RIT?

I'm currently a 3rd year ME there..... The wimmenz are severly lacking :(

I go to RIT too.. It sucks!

wOOt! That makes 3 of us suffering through teh gheyness of RIT!..... I got a good job from being there though.

you guys are not alone, i go to RIT too...but college of imaging arts and sciences got more women. w00tttttttt. :D

edit: am in same class with phiur.

Well aren't you the lucky one. lol. Seriously send some of your women over to us engineering types please!

how about you switch to art major? :D

But that would mean my workload would be easier and I would have loads of free time plus all the women.... Wait a sec.. that sounds GOOD. But then I wouldn't be able to continue working for SolidWorks since they are looking for Mech Engineers and I like working here... Tough choice.

well, i'm studying in industrial design. it's similar to industrial and systems engineering.

Heh.. I wouldn't know that going to my college! The girl to boy ratio is like 2 to 8. Hell, we're lucky if we get even one girl in a class.

they probably take like the easy majors like philosophy, womans studies, etc, etc.

in my math and engineering classes there are about 20% girls and about 10% of them are foreign students.
