So I called Verizon's customer care to dispute an activation fee and was transferred over to there "Loyalty" dept. They were able to credit my activation fee of $35 as well adding a $9.99 discount for each of my two smartphone lines! (basically $20 a month for my unlimited data)
The requirements for the promo the rep told me was for accounts older than a year and on a 1400 plan with unlimited texting along with a $30 or higher data plan. Great discount to take advantage of if you qualify for it! (stacks with my 15% work discount as well)
