alright, I've always been a firm believer that Compaq's Desktops are horrible, loaded with too much bloatware, and just are not easily upgradable. However, every Laptop that I have used that was made by them, has always been rock solid in performance and all around a decent system. Also, their servers are a decent product as well. Now, I've decided that I was going to order a Laptop from them, due to the fact that I've never owned one, and I liked compaq laptops... So, I order one. Here are the specs:

Fine, dandy. After I order, the website says that i'll be shipping in 7 days. Beautiful. So, 7 days hits and their site says it hasnt shipped yet. the 8th day, same thing... so i give them a call andsay:
"Hey, hows my order comin?"
operator: "It's set to ship out any time now, so you'll be getting it Monday or Tuesday"
me: "fantastic, thanks for your help"
Monday hits, the website still says it hasnt shipped... hmm.. i pay an extra 10 bucks for 2 day shipping... and no laptop ship?
so i call again:
"Hey, hows my order comin?"
operator: "It's set to ship out tomorrow, so you'll be getting it Thursday"
me (hmm ok maybe there was a slowdown somewhere): "alright, thanks for your help"
Today, just now i check to see if it shipped yet (usually you would think mail would go out around noon or so...)
Sure enough, it hasnt. So I call again... (im droppin over a grand to you guys and your slow as hell getting what i ordered)
"Hey, I was wondering if my order shipped yet."
operator: "Im not sure whats going on with your order..."
me: "I was told last week, it would be here by today and its not..."
operator: "I'll have to email the shipping department to find out whats going on with it, if you could please give a call tomorrow evening to check the status"
me: "I've already been waiting longer than I expected to wait, now its just getting irritating."
operator: "like i said, please give a call tomorrow evening to check the status."
