Another RAM question: Laptop related

I have a Piii 700mhz laptop with 2x128MB (256MB) ram running Win2k. Would it make a noticable difference to update to 2x256MB (512MB total)? This would mean getting rid of the 2x128MB since it currently takes up both of the slots.

Unless you're opening a lot of windows, no. 256MB in a laptop is plenty. I run Win2K on my Celeron 600 laptop with 192MB, and it's just fine.
