From Pricewatch. I just ordered a couple. I says CL2, but from what Micron's site says, the -7E is the only one rated CL2 @ 133. I could be wrong though.

That's generic-Micron chips, on a noname PCB. Micron's name brand is Crucial Micron.

Yeah, that's what I figured. It's not OFFICIALLY supported, but I'm sure I have a pretty good chance of doing 133@CL2 because some -8E I have easily does 140@CL3.

Gotta love that Micron quality

I have 3 sticks of Crucial PC133 with the -75 chips. None will do 133 cas2. They max out at 124 mhz with cas2 settings. They will make it to 140 mhz at cas3. That is as far as my 700e will go.

My Mushkin Mosel Vitalic PC100 with -8 does 129 CAS2, 133+ at CAS3. The speed is a combo of both the chips and the PCB design/quality. Lark

Generic modules with Micron chips are crap: you get what you pay for

All ram is different even fromthe same manufacturer. IN fact i ahd teh same teh piece of ram performe different in different boards. FOr example i had 128mb micron that would do 140 @ cas2 in my p3b-f yet wouldn't even do 133 cas2 in my a7v.

As for infineon i have had only good experiences in fact i ahve a stick right now that will do 150 @ cas 2
