I've searched the threads about the 4200+ X2 and couldn't find any info about this. Sorry if this has already been addressed.
I have a friend who looking into purchasing and HP brand system with the X2 4200+ processor. When I go into the system properties on in windows media center 2005, it only indicates that it's running at 997 Mhz or something like that.
I think I read that this processor runs at 2.2 or 2.4 ghz for each core but I'm not sure. Would anyone know why it would only display a clock speed of 997 Mhz? Also, would the system properties only indicate the processing power of only one of those cores?
