At the moment I am at 3.4ghz @ 50c. I know I can go more, here is the problem.
My memory kinda shuts down at 2.0 volts, even though its rated at that. I find it run the best at 1.9 volts. IF I move the FSB up to 430, what ratio would I need to run the ram as close to 800 as possible without issues? Also is there going to be issue to the PCI express, which I do not want OC'd at all.

Also, what are the top temps of the Q9550 according to Intel?

THanks in Advance,

Lock your PCI-e bus to 100, otherwise it can be damaged if you overclock with it linked to your FSB

Just look at the FSB:DRAM ratio in your bios and check whichever is closest to stock.

Anything under 70c is acceptable, but if you can keep it under 60c then +++

under 60* seems to be the preferred limit. Download RealTemp, as it was written specifically with Quad cores in mind.

The lowest ratio that current Intel chipsets support is 1:1, so that with a FSB of 430, the lowest setting you could run your memory is DDR2-860.

Thanks everyone, at FSB 400 it is very stable, and hits about 59c under prime95. I do not mind another 5c on the upside. Where would I find this PCI lock thingy?

Ok, PCI is locked at 100, Let me know if this all looks right to you. I now am at 3.6ish@1.26 volts. The bios is set to 1.3 volts. I think this is all I can do, What are some suggestions on a nice memory upgrade to OC a bit more. I like LED's on my memory to see problems happen or no problems happen. Here is the PICTURE. Let me know if I can change anything please

Thanks
