In India recently, a sacred river has been spotted to have toxic foam floating on it. Many religious Hindus take a dip in this river, and some even drink from this river. This is just proof of climate change and how it is affecting our planet and lives negatively. Even when there was toxic foam floating on the river, people still took a dip in it. Some even were spotted using the toxic foam as soap, and one woman was seen drinking from the toxic foam river.

Although this is news about a climate change news in India, this should be a wake up call for us in the US. If we do not stop or slow climate change, we might see our own rivers and maybe even our own water supplies containing toxic foam in the future. We must do something.

What does this have to do with climate change? You say "This is just proof of climate change". Well, no. This is proof of poor waste infrastructure.

What do you expect from a place where they routinely dispose of the dead like in the Ganges river. Then they bath in the same water...

Now that is very racist. Cremated ashes have nothing to do with the formation of toxic foam.

No, facts are not racist.

I'm not talking about "Creamated Ashes". I'm talking about bodies.

How specifically is this caused by climate change? Please elaborate. I've been to India, one of the sights I found most depressing was how much trash was in the rivers there regardless of where I was in the country.

Pollution caused by dumping raw waste into a river has nothing to do with climate change.

Not climate change, although that is another form of corporate cost externalization.

All I know, is that you can't make me drive in that country.
Oh hell no, that shit is nuts. I hate Detroit drivers, really hate Boston drivers, but roads in India are a whole other level of craziness. Vast differences in speeds of vehicles, overloaded trucks, lane markings that are mere suggestions.

I'm ashamed to defend one of our typical asses on this one, but he's right. It's technically illegal, and a *lot* of primarily rural communities do it anyway. 404 racism not found.

Thanks but don't put yourself out...

Just can't resist the insults can you. Sad.
