I have been using an Antec True430 in my main system for about a year and a half with no problems. Untill a week ago when it went dead. I pulled the True380 out of a Sonata case I wasn't using to replace it. Shortly thereafter I started getting spontaneous reboots and happening pretty frequently. So I'm sure the 380w psu is the culprit even though I thought it was a decent unit.
My system:
NF7-s v2 (No volt mods, etc)
35w XP2400m at 200x12 1.6v
2x256 Corsair 3200ll (BH-5)
9700pro (Moderate overclock)
TV tuner card
160mb 7200rpm hd
2x74gb Raptors in Raid 0
2 DVD drives
floppy and card reader
5 or 6 fans
I am considering buying a Seasonic S12-500. , but something, maybe the ~$140, is holding me back.
Looking for something solid but cheaper, I ran across this Enermax.
Any thoughts on these units for the above system, or anything else comparable in the under $100 range?
thanks all
