/me yawns

Blah-blah-blah... another "it's America's fault" POV which is bound to get people to start flaming at you and the author for repeating something that's already been beaten to death (more or less)

It's nearly impossible to have an open mind when reading extremely bigoted opinions.

The British invaded our country and burned our capitol. We don't still hold a grude with them today.

We bombed and burned Germany. Today, they're some of our closest allies.

The person in that e-mail has no excuses.

The author is an idiot,
'nuff said.

Btw, I don't really see the reason for posting something "Just for another point of view." There's always another point of view on the issue, however just because it's different does not mean it's enlightened or for that matter correct.

Really, people should start being more accountable for things they post, and not saying stuff like..."I, uh, don't agree with the contents of this link, but I'm going to post it anyways just to stir up some more sh!t in this forum, as if there wasn't enough going on already".

<< Every inch on the face of this earth has the right to hate America. >>

Please have an open mind :) :|

And i would agree... i would also add so is the thread starter, since he obviously lacks the ability to differentiate between a good argument and garbage.

That is the biggest crock of bull I have ever read and the person who wrote it rambles on like a three year old. Everything that moron pointed out in there was justified, just because he presents it in a lopsided and biased manner doesn't make it worse than it actually is. The Japanese bombed pearl harbor, that gives us as much right to commit terrorism against them as dropping a nuke to stop a war that was killing thousands a day. Slavery? What a joke, that was over 150 years ago, you can't blame anyone living in the US today for slavery, especially considering the entire world was involved in slave trading at one time or another, and it was often rival tribes that turned over slaves to the slave traders. Didn't African-Americans die in the WTC too? As for economic embargoes, its not the US's fault that certain countries like to take away their people's civil rights, they could easily change so that people would've have to starve everyday, but they care less about their people than the power they hold.

that guy takes everything that has happened in 50 years, squares the effects for drama, then spills it into a slop bucket of puke in the form on an html file.

Its filled with trash like this
"Don't be fooled by Hollywood movies made on behalf of U.S. interests like the Seige. On the scales of justice, America is overwhelmingly guilty of being the biggest global terrorist.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>This qualifies the U.S. military to be a justified target for the entire world to destroy.
<DIV></DIV>The righteous Muslims, as well as all non-Muslim people who hate tyrrany and oppression, declared war on the U.S. a long time ago. The Muslim world should first unite, then attack America, (it's military, not it's people)."

It DOESmention that the Pentagon was a legitimate military target, which even I will admit is true.

THAT (the attachment) sound VERY biased, but it is interesting to note that all post so far in reply (bashing) have been made by americans, prove me wrong!

Also I don't agree that things like that should not be posted, even if its propaganda, cause if some one post a similar thing saying that that Afgans are very horrible ppl. (and made it sound so that even the dumbest person would see that its propaganda) I don't think I'll see al those name (nicks) saying he/she should not post a thing like that.

Just post and let post!

I am not American and I think that article had a lot of hate-filled drivel in it, in fact I was the first to respond.

Who appointed you the one to decide what is sh!t and what isn't, we have moderators here, let them do their job. I srongly belive that YOU as almost everyone here has been involved in an AMD-INTEL flame war (maybe you don't know it). And those are also usually locked.

Someone (the poster) found that documet interesting, I did not say he belived it, I read it all the way too and I feel its very biased. But just cause YOU or others don't like it doesn't make it sh!t.

FREE COUNTRY, free speach. Very funny, you can't even stand it on the internet.

BTW, I agree with the HATE in the documet, its very eminent, but the issue was "why the hate" again you are ignoring the point. I would personaly (if I was american then most certainly) be interested in why, whoever wrote that email hates me (and I wont fool myself by saying that he hates freedom and thats all) before he/she evolve to become a pilot in one of my schools

While i certainly don't speak for all Americans (and most would probably be thankful for that fact), i can point out one small problematic area in all these threads.... while (accurately or not) pointing out all of America's flaws, the authors NEVER propose alternatives (quite possibly because they don't have any). That makes it rather convienient to ignore and/or get angry at their criticisms. Offer constructive criticism, or don't offer any criticism at all.

constructive criticism: don't bash others just cause you don't like what they write. If you don't agree, then make an argument (with few or no 4 letter words) or don't say anything.
