Another point about 4x4 that's been overlooked...

So, by now we've all seen the leaked pictures of the asus 4x4 board. The mounting bracket on the 1207 socket obviously isn't something that's compatible with any heatsinks out there today. Seeing as it's being branded as the ultimate enthusiast platform, won't it be a problem that there isn't a lot of development for enthusiast heatsinks on 1207? I know that there's no such thing as a stock heatsink for current 1207s and you have to go aftermarket, but those are all your typical super-loud server fans. Will we be seeing a zalman, etc on this platform?

Give it time man...Plus in these early stages they are assumming you will not be overclocking (Because they dont condone this) and will use the retail HSF the provide you....

The spacing is fine on them actually and I dont see why not heatsinks like my Ninja or even the infinity cannot be used...Just where you mount the 120mm fan directionally may be the issue with 2 sockets...

It looks to me like a socket AM2 bracket split into two parts and with screws in the middle instead of having two on each side. Socket 939 also had screws in the middle of the bracket, so it's not like we haven't seen this before.
