Am I the only one slightly bothered by this phenomenon? What is the point of taking off your shoes and placing them on the dashboard or hanging them out of the window. Granted, I know that most automobiles are not the most comfortable form of transportation. However, I find it very hard to believe that elevating your feet remedies the situation at all.
And besides, no one wants to see those dried, wrinkled prunes you call 'toes.' If feet were meant to be elevated, they would have been directly connected to our shoulders.
Well, maybe it's I spend most of my time behind the wheel. I just hope that if I am ever blessed with children, none of them develop this habit.
