Another paypal scam?

Did anyone else just get an email from "security at paypal" ? Wants you to update or resubmit your info. Scam or not?

Sounds like a scam, but you didn't give enough infor to determine that.
If it were necessary, you would submit your information through PayPal's website (upon logging in, you would recieve the same message), and not through email.

Hi,

There are many spoof emails going around these days. Please keep in mind:

a) we would not ask for your password
b) we would not ask for sensitive information in an email

Anything actually requiring an action with your PayPal account can be seen when you log into your account. The safest way to prevent falling for one of these? Simply log in at www.paypal.com.

I was wondering if you were still around 🙂

If/When I get these emails, I simply goto the Paypal website and login. If it is really them, you will be given a screen before you see your main account page, asking exactly what the email asked. Just remember paypal will never ask for a password...
