Well, it seems as though there's another pay-for-bandwidth project out there now. I've been running the client from Porivo Technologies for a couple of weeks now, and I've been pretty impressed so far. Like CapCal and other projects of its ilk, Porivo is load-testing various websites using your bandwidth. They're willing to pay you $.10 for each day that you're online for a few hours (I think it's 4), plus $.01 for each 20 minutes of testing that you do.
But the best thing about it, IMO, is that it uses virtually no CPU time on my machine. On my 1.2GHz. machine, it uses between 1-2% of the CPU. So that means that you could run Porivo, CapCal, and RC5/SETI/OGR/whatever all on the same machine!
Anyway, I just thought I'd point out that this is a good way to make a little money with all those computers you're already using to crack codes or search for aliens!

P.S. Please don't interpret this a recruitment post. I don't work for Porivo and I don't get anything for having you sign up. Although, if you'd like to put my username (appletalking) in the referred-by box if you happen to sign up . . .
