Is there any VR game that actually needs the 1080 boost speed yet? Being as it's a fixed platform (both res and fps) and most games are designed for a 970 I suspect this is unlikely and therefore this bug is currently a problem to 0 people in the world.

As long as they fix it before that changes this bug has impacted no one and is therefore so minor who cares?
Answer: no one but those with an agenda and a love of drama.
