I did a bit of revision based on reviews and suggestions.
So here's my build, I didn't bother to place links because (I'm lazy) and you can look it up yourself on newegg.

Mobo:
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
I know it's kind of expensive, but i'm trying to future prof here.

CPU:
AMD Opteron 175 (maby 170)
I'll just get this save a few hundred than getting a 4800+ and just overclock

RAM (Memory)
OCZ Platinum Series DDR500 at 3-3-2-8 2GB (couldn't find the 2GB kit yet)
It's 2GB of nice fast RAM, what did you expect

Video Card:
Nvidia 7800GTX 512MB
I'll just get what evers left in stock/cheapest when I buy it (although they will prabably all be $699!)

PSU:
Sesonic 600W PSU (Too lazy to get the real name of it)

Sound Card:
Creative X-fi. (the $189 one, not the rediculously expensive $389 one)

Harddrive(s):
Maxtor Maxline III 300GB SATA HD.
2 of these in RAID0

Case:
Maby the Tt Shark, the only peace i'm not real sure on.

CPU cooler:
Loyal Zalman fanboy here so, 7700CNPS (performs slightly better than the 9500)
w/Artic Silver 5 of course

Monitor:
ViewSonic VP191B (woo, newegg just jacked up the price $100+ on this thing, it was $354! now it's $479.99!)
One of the fastest and (use to be) cheapest monitors with that price/performance ratio.

Please Leave any suggestions or comments that you want. (I may have left some componets out, like speakers, but those arn't that important, so make suggestions on those if you want too, but I'm really looking for opinion on the main hardware). Go ahead and and totally change the config if you want. I don't care, I prefere to compare before you buy, and all the feedback from the anandtech forums has helped me alot (made me change my mind on alot of things, went from an CRT to LCD on this one, also went dual core!)

Thx in advance

- Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Do not waver, this board will last you until socket 939 is obsolete.

- AMD Opteron 175
Definately a match made in heaven with that motherboard.

- OCZ Platinum Series DDR500 at 3-3-2-8 2GB (couldn't find the 2GB kit yet)
There you have it. The ultimate 3 core components for your 939 platform. I'm getting the exact same combination myself this christmas. And besure to try and run the RAM at 128-bit DDR333 1.5-2-2-7-1T because latency matters more and the 5328MB/s bandwidth that could provide won't limit you at all. Talk about edge-bleeder.

- Nvidia 7800GTX 512MB
Nothing to say here. I tend to buy a cheap video card when I buy a new platform, and then get a killer card next time I have cash.

- Sesonic 600W PSU (Too lazy to get the real name of it)
That wouldn't actually even be the 'Seasonic S12-600' which is what it's commonly called. The actual model is "SS-600HT Active PFC F3". Buy it here instead of newegg.

- Creative X-fi. (the $189 one, not the rediculously expensive $389 one)
Meh. Nothing to say.

- Maxtor Maxline III 300GB SATA HD.2 of these in RAID0
Get a pair of WD4000YRs instead. Pwnage

- Maby the Tt Shark, the only peace i'm not real sure on.
Only case I've seen lately I've liked is the Gigabyte Aurora.

- Loyal Zalman fanboy here so, 7700CNPS (performs slightly better than the 9500) w/AS5
Retail Opteron 175's HSF is actually decent, but this doesn't matter as long as whatever you get does it's job well.

- ViewSonic VP191B (woo, newegg just jacked up the price $100+ on this thing, it was $354! now it's $479.99!)
I'm an avid ViewSonic hater. Thier products suck royal ass compared to the ViewSonic I used back in the late 90s.

Nothing wrong with a Maxtor hard drive. I'd still grab a Seagate or a Samsung though. :)

Why run it at DDR333 at 1.5-2-2-7 1T when it would clearly be a hell of alot faster at DDR550 at 3-3-2-7 1T even with the slower timings?

Anyway, thx for suggestions, I might actually get the WD HD's instead even though they are almost twice the price of the Maxtors.

I started a topic about which monitor to buy, ended up choosing this one because it is one of the fastest LCD monitors on the market that balances gaming quality with everyday use quality. I choose this monitor because not only did I get suggestions from the anandtech forums to get it, but also toms hardware guide loved it too.

I got cash now :)

Thx for suggestions, keep e'm coming as I like to hear personal experience of products, not what some review site or n00b reviewing a product on newegg has to say (although I do trust anandtech and tomshardware alot).

thx

For your 19" monitor, Samsung SyncMaster 191N 19" LCD would be an excellent choice. I have 2 18" Samsungs and they are fine.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Samsung-191N-SyncMa...6QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Priced at $269.

The Thermaltake Shark Aluminum Case (VA7000) is AOK. The 120mm fans are just what you need for proper case ventilation. Thermaltake outdid themselves with design and construction. The design sure is beyond what this guy would ever get but modern is you.

Maybe I should go for the VA9000BWS. Got a bigger window and is only $20 more.

DRAGoNX515,

So what did you finally decide on? I am curious becaues I came to almost the same conclusion on your main 3 components. Very curious how your ram turned out for compatibility with your motherboard.

Here is where I am at, still not ready to purchase but this is what I am at so far:
Antec P150 (I might check out a Lian Li V1000 but pretty sure I like the Antec)
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD OPTERON 170 2.0GHZ DUAL CORE W/1MB X 2 CACHE 90NM 64-BIT
OCZ Platinum Series DDR500
ATI X800XL PCI-e (keeping from my current rig)
Western Digital WD4000KD Sata (just bought this a few days ago)
Western Digital WD2500KS Sata (keeping from my current rig)

Onboard everything else like sound, firewire etc.

ribbon13,

Curious if you know the benefit of WD4000YR over the WD4000KD? From what I know they are the exact same drive except the YR has a longer burn in period to catch issues at the factory and has TLER turned on. If you are not going to use RAID then would it not be better to go with the WD4000KD which does not have TLER?
