Another one bites the dust

So lately my 360 has been giving me trouble, not wanting to read dvds, freezing in games sometimes and becoming louder by the day. I plan to call microsoft and send it in, but I had a question.


I bought the 360 over a year ago from a fellow AT'er, he does not visit the boards anymore. I was wondering what kind of trouble Microsoft will give me since I'm not the original owner? Has anyone else done this, bought a 360 online and sent it in for repairs? How did it go?

Haven't done this. However when i did have to send mine in all they asked was the serial number which shows them when it was made. They never asked where i bought it from or when i bought it.

So no ones had MS give them any trouble even though they bought it second party?
