Another of my cats died this morning

Some of you may remember my cat Bubbles that died about 9 or 10 months ago (I made a thread don't feel like searching). He died while I slept and I wondered if it was better finding your pet dead or seeing it happen in case you could do something about it. Well unfortunately this morning at 10:00am I had a chance to answer that question. My favorite cat Bookie went into a spasm or seizure in front of me and died. I took the body to my vet and had her cremated, since burying pets in my city is illegal.

The better way is to wake up or come home and there dead rather than see it, I've never felt as helpless in my life.

I'm sorry to bother everyone with this, but everyone I know is working and my parents are in Ottawa visiting my sister in the intensive care unit. Yeah life is great lately. On a positive note though my Teeth have never been straighter or whiter.

People complain that people post stuff here because they have no one else. At this time I don't have anyone else. The teeth part was trying to make light of a bad situation / joke. I'm sorry you didn't understand.

Burying pets in the city is illegal because they may have diseases and their excrement / juices (sorry best I can describe) leeks into the human water supply.

Our cat Binky, 20 lbs of eating machine, goes into a spasm every so often according to Barbara, his human caretaker. I've only seen it once and it's not pretty. No way do you want to go near his claws, especially if he's kicking at phantoms.
I feel so sorry for him because all we can do is wait and help him clean up and settle down.

I saw her go into a spasm / seizure and I said OK I'll wait till it stops then clean her up but she never came back. I really wish she would have came back because I'd be bathing her now not mourning her. Don't take them for granted if the come for attention give it because they may not be there tomorrow (I learned that from Bubbles).

I am very sorry for your loss.

I know how you feel, been there numerous times.

Cremation is always best, you can take them with you if/when you move someplace else.

anyway.... my condolences on the loss of your friend and loved one.
