Another Noob question, copying a program from floppies to cd

I have an older program that is on 6 floppies and I would like to compile them onto 1 cd, do I need a program to compile them or do I just drag and drop?

You should be able to copy the floppies to a hard drive, then burn those files to a CD. However, if the floppies contain some sort of setup program, it may not work on a CD (i.e. it may still prompt you to insert Disk 2 when installing).
