256 Kingston 133 * 2
hook everything up and turn it on for the first time.... NO POST
spend few hours... still nothing
got mad went to fry and got a combo mb & cpu
came home hoping that it would work
try new mb with the cpu from new egg..... hum hum hum still not working. May be I didn't seated the cpu correctly or did i just mess up the core or fried the cpu.... oh no...
I knew i should have gone with Intel....
kept switching around between motherboards
read some posts on the forum and thinking may be my ps wasn't powerful enough
but hey i've got a 300w that should be ok
thinking i'll have to make another trip to fry get a bigger ps.
finally i got tired and start to pack things up and call it a day
unpluged the cord in the back of powersupply and found my problem....
dito i was stupid, the powersupply was set for 230v not 115v....
switch the input to 115v and everything is running perfect!!!! :)
happy happy joy joy

Whoa.. you're lucky... I've heard horror stories about having the wrong setting on the PSU, such as the PSU blowing up.. smoke etc... heh.. glad it all worked out.
