Another Newegg shipping question

Will Fedex deliver or will Newegg ship on Saturday/Sunday if you order overnight shipping from them?

In certain areas you can go pick it up on a saturday or sunday. I believe they do NOT deliver on the weekends.

I remember an ad campaign a few years ago that all like "OMGWTF WE DELIVER EVEN ON SUNDAY!!!" 😕

Newegg won't ship on a Saturday will they? This is like the 3rd letdown regarding getting my new stuff for an upcoming LAN Party this weekend. It looks like it won't even ship until Monday if it doesn't go out tomorrow. :|

It will travel over the weekend (AKA on the big fedex planes), but they don't do delivery. Why'd you wait until Friday to order something you wanted this weekend?

EDIT: Also, usually overnight is only if you place the order and it's PROCESSED before like 2PM. Not even Jesus could get next day delivery if he ordered at 8:30 PM.

I also had been asking my friend for like a week in a half if he would talk to his dad to order the stuff for me. My mom doesn't have a CC ATM

What time on Thursday? If you order overnight shipping on Thursday evening/night, it is considered the next business day. Therefor your package would be considered ordered on Friday for Saturday shipping, but since Fedex doesn't deliver Saturday, you won't get it until Monday. If you ordered it Thursday morning though, I'd be kind of pissed if I were you.

What time on Thursday? If you order overnight shipping on Thursday evening/night, it is considered the next business day. Therefor your package would be considered ordered on Friday for Saturday shipping, but since Fedex doesn't deliver Saturday, you won't get it until Monday. Newegg hasn't shipped it yet. I'm not very happy. It should have shipped today. It's still on Step 4, which is the fact that it is only packed up and ready to go. :frown:

Newegg just updated their site saying that it's been shipped. It's 9:15 at night and I've never seen newegg take this long to update. I guess since they don't ship. I'll have to find a FedEx pickup place to pick it up.

Well in that case I would be pissed if it should a full day late, which it seems is what happened here. I would call them up and see if you can't get reimbursed for the money you paid for overnight shipping.
