I've seen alot of references to loading drivers in a particular order and wanted to get the order straight.

I have a MSI Turbo Raid, Radeon LE, will have a 1g+ tbird. What are teh steps I should take when I put this all together?

Hopefully MSI will have some new bios out that can restore the lower multipliers that everyone is having trouble with, but I think I need to install VIA 4in 1 drivers also?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

Fred

I think you should install the 4in1 drivers first. I read somewhere recently that in 2000 you don't need all aspects of the 4in1 for win 2000 but I don't remember exactly what it said or where I read it. Sorry

I am sure someone here can clairify for you.

I don't think there is a golden rule of what to load first... It is all personal prefs...

I ussually start with BIOS ,video card, Drive controlers, and so on...

I usually go:
Your MOBO may have a readme file on the cd, if not I do:
1. Video card
2. sound card
3. modem

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was affraid I'd mess things up if I didn't install in the right order.
