So I've been reading these forums for 6-7 months now and it seems the group here is the most knowledgeable and Friendly of the sites I have been reading. So now that I'm done buttering you up I was hoping for a little advice on my build. Going to make the purchase in the next day or two.

I do some heavy gaming along with some video encoding. All the prices on the items listed below I can flex on no more then $20(each). I already have a video card (BFG 8800 GTS OC 2 from the BB deal last month) so thats pretty much covered. I plan on doing NO overclocking. I know the Q6600 is cheaper elsewhere but I am just using the Newegg wishlist tool as a reference point.

The biggest question I have is on the Power supply. I know that 500 is more then enough but I was wondering as to the brand. It also has a $20 rebate right now which puts it in at only $30.

Any help on this build is Greatly Appreciated. Thanks in advance!

PSU wattage should be good.....

Hmm i would try and land a G0 stepping q6600, but it isn't a big deal...

Board is good... should serve you well....

No overclocking then that ram is cool.... I believe that set uses promos chips... but at stock it should be more than sufficient...

personally i would go with a different PSU... something along the lines of a Seasonic... maybe a fortron... i have no experience with the one you picked so i cant comment on the rails abilities...

yea that psu is amazing.... and especially for that price... definitely go for that...

sorry i would ditch that ram... it is cl5 i didnt realize that at first...

umm just grab some ddr2-800 ram with cl4 timings... the ic's won't matter all that much since u arent overclocking
