I have a remote web server with about 100mb free. My home mp3 collection is about 30gbs. I want to setup a mp3 serve so I can listen to my music remotly. All of the software packages that I have seen on sourceforge allow streaming directly from the server. What I want to do is allow the server to act as a database (sort of a middleman) for me to search while the actual files are on my home system. Is this possible? What do I need to do? Thanks.
