so i've had a DFI nf2 lanparty board sitting around dead for a while... think i'm finally gonna bite the bullet and pay the $30 to rma it.
currently i'm using a7n8x deluxe board which does pretty much NO overclocking... thus my nice twinmos twister pc3700 has been going to waste. i KNOW that laparty board will be a nice upgrade, as i know it overclocks very nice.
question is... while i'm at it... should i just go ahead and make the jump to an a64/pci-e system? and can i do this for around $400?
summary:
current system:
asus a7n8x deluxe
xp2600+ M
512mb Twinmos Twister pc3700
9800 pro
definite upgrade:
mobo - DFI Lanparty Ultra B nf2
another 512 or 1024mb of RAM
possible upgrade:
a64 mobo (sli is not needed)
a64 cpu
1x pci-e video card
suggestions are welcome as far as whether i should upgrade as well as recommended components for upgrade.
THANKS!
