This is what the Dem's want. More and more poor that are dependent on government handouts that will keep them in power. It is sick. Keep people perpetually poor to stay in power, keep them on the Democrat plantation.
Weird then that the areas in the country with the strongest and most capitalist economies, where workers from all over the country are migrating to in order to get the best and highest-paying jobs, are all controlled by Democrats. NYC, SF, Seattle, Denver, Portland, LA, Austin, etc.

Well..Holy Hell!.. Those Democrats better get a move on because the midterms are only a couple weeks away and the caravan didn't even cross the Mexican border yet. The Democrats better get down there, possibly with a shitload of bullhorns and get those people walking faster. Or better yet just get 40 or 50 buses and load em all up and bus their asses up there. They should get buses with tinted windows, that way they won't be so obvious when a fuckload of busses cross the border and head to the voting booths....lol

This isn't the first group of hundreds or thousands pulling this stunt. Say what you want about the wall, but it'd help here.

There are times, when I read what you post, and I find myself wondering if your parents ever had any children that lived..

The SLOW in your name I find very apropo.

Aside form there being a major lie in this the flavor of the language is getting kind of North Korea-ish

Man, he is really worried about the midterms. Seems everyday it gets a little more fervent, doing all he can to whip his base into a fearful frothy lather. Snowflake sticking to red states for his cheerleader schtick too, ha, well, you are what you grab.

Really, now how exactly do we ruin these countries besides heavily supporting them by sending hundreds of millions of dollars, importing their produce/farming, and buying their oil? Please do tell.

Oh Its because our stupid citizens also buy drugs from cartels present in those countries huh? Yeah, guess it's our own damn fault.

In fact, probably what we do the worst to hurt these countries is that we import their A+ most valuable citizens legally, leaving them the table scraps as far as labor value.
We fought a lot of proxy wars against the Soviets in Central America. (e.g. the installation of Carlos Castillo Armas in Guatemala) They made a real mess of the area that they've never really recovered from.

what would happen inf 5k us citizens tried walking through mexico south without going through immigration?

They'd likely pay a fine if they were caught without a current visa. That or a small bribe to the official who caught them.

What, you thought Mexico would put them in cages or something? Take their children away from them?

They aren't crazy barbarians like us.

Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.

Ok cool, so why isn't Mexico doing anything here? Those aren't Mexican citizens in that caravan marching through Mexico.

Which explains how the last caravan reached our border not at all.

"Criminals & unknown middle easterners are mixed in" is a nice touch, huh?

Reports indicate the number is now up to 14,000. It will probably be up to 100k by the time it reaches the US. So what should we do when they reach the US?

Check them in at the border, give them personal identification cards and special tax ids, transport them to areas where they could find work so they can support themselves and their families, give them money to get them started?

Or create a New Central America carved out of southern California?

Seriously though, what are the options to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone?

Especially in situations where the war on drugs and the Cold War collided.

More bullshit projection, please.

Gotta love the part where Trump wants to cut off aid, giving more people reason to leave Central America.

Run by cowardly Democrats that cave to the whims of the new tech billionaires who are liberals in name only but try to touch their money to improve the housing and homeless problems those cities have and they turn Koch bros republican on you really fast.
