Another infamous 2.4 SL6RZ thread...heheh =)

Went to Fry's

Asked for one 2.4B retail and 1 oem

Guy brings out retail box, SL6EF, went something like this ;
Me - "can you bring out 4-5 so I can pick the one I want?"
Fry's guy - "Well, we only are supposed to bring out 1 at a time"
Me - Well, can you ask the cage guy to look at all the boxes and pick one w/ the SL6RZ", and I show him on the box

2 minutes later, Fry's guy -
"they are all SL6EF"
Me - "OK, can you bring out an oem?"

At this point I'm thinking, great, looks like I'm outta luck...

Fry's guy - "here you go, and I can't really keep going back and forth too many more times"

I look at it, it also is SL6XX....crud
Me - "do this , ask the guy to look through a few, see if he can find one w/ SL6RZ"
2-3 minutes pass, here he comes "fingers crossed".......................
Fry's guy - "he found one"....

Me - "WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO !! !! !!"

So, I get home, slap it in, and 160fsb @ default -2880Mhz. firstboot
Will keep you guys updated

nice and stable

170 FSB - 3.06Ghz.
1.575 vcore


I don't want to push it much farther for now well...

BUT, I agree w/ you, don't use it unless you have to!
