Yea I want to be used for a Toshiba 65HDX82 with DVI. I've checked some HTPC forums and they said it is possible just requires a lot of work. If that doesn't work then I'll just get hte DVI to Component converter for ATI cards.

Well here it is:

Antec ARIA Aluminum w/300w

AMD Athlon 64 2800+, 512K Cache

MSI K8TM0ILSR K8T800

ELSA ATI RADEON 9600XT, 128MB 128bit DVI/VIVO

ATI HDTV Wonder Remote Control Edition PCI TV

Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack) 1G (512x2) PC 3200

2 Segate 160GB Barracudas 7200RPM SATA for raid

NEC 8X Dual Layer DVD +/- RW

ZALMAN CNPS7000A-Cu

I will probably get a wireless keyboard and mouse and possibly a slot cooler if there is space.
The total comes to about $1,200 if I get every thing from newegg.

There are a few things that I'm worried about. Should I switch to a mobile Athlon64, so that the chip runs cooler. I don't know if there is enough space for 2 HDDs or if they will produce too much heat. And I hear that the Aria is poor at releasing heat. I could change the fans in case, power supply, add a slot cooler. All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance

*Bump*

Anyone?

Just tell me if the raid 0,slot fan, or non-mobile Athlon64 is a good idea.

Thanks

search for aria and there is a post about the mod to do. I think it is cutting a hole in the side and adding a fan.

Iwant to do what you are doing, but I dont think the cases are up to par so Iam going to wait another year.

I'd definitely use a mobile A64...a 2800....it would allow modest overclocks later but does run cooler...
