Get a samsung LCD, or check out deals on Dell's website. You can probably get a 17" Dell LCD for cheap. I guess you just need to make sure it ahs a 16ms response time or less.

You're right, and they are probably good too. 😱
They are manufactured in mainland China, as so many others, and maybe often in the same factories as well. But I was wrong, I assumed LiteOn was just another trading brand, to flood the market with the production output from Chinese factories. That's not completely true. LiteON have the responsibility for the design.
