CNN reporting a Blackhawk down in Iraq.... Unknown if it was due to hostile fire or mechanical failure....

Crashes near Tikrit...you KNOW what it went down from. It wasn't mechanical failure, not in that part of the region of Iraq.

I'll post this to the general public (I refuse to go into the P&N forum):

The soldiers over there are doing their JOB. Some of them agree with what they are doing over there, some of them do not. Regardless, they are doing what they have agreed to do. To the people that are inevitably going to come into this thread and insult the servicemen that died: Suck my balls.

I salute those that gave their lives for their country. I would do the same if I were in the situation. I am biased obviously, since I am a Marine, but in the end these men died for their country... your country also. If you don't like that thats fine. But don't badmouth those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. They deserve your respect. If you want to object then vote differently, but do not say ill words towards those that cannot say anything back.

They might be doing their job, but that doesn't mean the reason for them being there is right.
