Shipped from zipzoomfly for 339.99. shipping took longer than expected. ordered friday of week 1, received on Monday of week 3.. i dunno i just expected a little better. kinda of disappointed at FedEx. they always try to make the customer happy by making it seem that your package comes in later and they ship it to you a day early. my tracking said it was sched to deliver on tuesday of this week, but instead i got it today in the afternoon. had to cut my day early and come home. does fedex think we're kids or something? trying to surprise us with false tracking dates? dunno just seems to be kind of repetitive with me

box shipped with no exterior packaging.. only the box and an address sticker on it. kinda of damaged but no major bumps. just some lost color and scratches. nothing damaged on the inside (as far as i can tell). first thing i did.. go to ATi CCC and checked my resolution, had to "Force" 1680 x 1050 @ 60mhz. Then open up my widescreen 24 season 5.. looked sexy (havn't gotten a chance to try a real dvd yet). then opened up CS;Source.. went to options video, widescreen: 16:10 then 1680 x 1050 and maxed out settings. FPS at nothing under 100. silky smooth gaming. was great. stock brightness didn't hurt my eyes at all since i'm upgrading from an analog 19' LCD...
currently i have 2 x mozilla browsers open, one at widescreengaming and other at AT. screen is wide enough to view threads for both.
haven't tried the speakers cuz i don't plan on ever using them. NO dvi problem whatsoever. no dead pixels.
let me know if you have any questions. sorry no digital camera for pics but looks as sharp as newegg's pics.
