Another firefox problem...

It only saves images if I click and drag it to the folder I want the file in.

Also, why can't it remember the last folder I saved an item in? IE did this, but if I want to save more than 7 or 8 different items to one folder, I have to re-select that folder each time I attempt to save the file (this goes for ALL files).
 
Uninstall + reinstall?

(Make sure you delete the hidden folder in Documents & Settings too.)

What hidden folder? I dont see one in D&S's...

*edit*....Ok, now I REALLY feel like the village idiot.
 
I uninstalled it, then re-installed it. Same problem.

I dont wanna have to go back to IE. I'd freak out without Adblock!
 
Hidden folder is here:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\somerandomletters.default
 
an alternate solution... grab the DOWNLOADTHEMALL extension and see if that will let you save images.

That directory isn't hidden for me. 😕

How exactly do I do this? I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, and nothing seems to work. I can't find anything related to this in the about:config settings either...

Please help me someone...

I can't download the DOWNLOADTHEMALL ext. It told me I had to have 0.9 version and below...I've got 1.0.5.

Shutdown Firefox.
Delete your profile.
Start firefox.

Dude, that happens to me too (FF 1.06). (Drag and drop does work though.)
