Good review, only thing I disagree with is his claim the bios chip is in a bad location. I mean how many people make a habit of removing their bios chips?

Nice find Pete,btw reviewers always find something to moan about ,as for board layout well that`s down to the individual(like sound cards ),most people are more concerned with stability,overclocking ,specs etc.

In fact for the entire testing phase I found no comparability or stability problems with the 8K5A2+. I believe the best part of this board is its price tag of just $115 US, making the 8K5A2+ one of the best value KT333 boards we have seen to date

Epox IMHO have really improved stability over the years , as for pricing well they have always been good value IMHO.

How could somebody possibly bitch about the placement of a BIOS chip?

I only remove the BIOS chip when I install my BIOS Savior. I had no problem removing the chip from the 8K5A2+. (Great board BTW )
