Hey everyone,
Here's the deal, my friend's laptop's motherboard went bad (power connector broke) and its an HP XT155. So i checked out ebay and found a motherboard on auction and won it for $50 + $15 shipping....not too bad. The auction stated the board is for this laptop, 100% working, sold as is, and no returns. Today i received the laptop motherboard and its definitly not the right one, and there's no way i can rig it to fit. So i emailed the person asking what do they advise next, since its not the right board. Now am i screwed since he has no returns? Im thinking not since its not the product he advertised. What do you think?

Sorry to be a pain, but that is why I don't buy computer parts on ebay... try to dispute it saying item is not as described and hope for the best.

If the item you received is not the item described, then you can file a complaint with ebay, etc... Even if he says no returns as is, that would only cover if you got it and it didnt work for some reason (and was the same thing described.)

Did the item not have pics, part number, etc... ?
