Just felt another earthquake here... USGS reporting it as a 4.7... Thats the largest of 10 (Edit: now 31) since 2PM this afternoon... and well over 600 since I felt a 5.5 on 9/18...

recent

and link to a report of the Adobe Hills swarm... Largely unreported because its such a remote area.

So.....if the "Big One" ever happens....could its seismic activity mess with resting fault lines in the midwest or calderas like the one in Yellowstone and create a domino effect?

Not sure, but it is a good thought. I'd check back to see what happend there after the last St. Helens eruption. Whatever happens, i'm sure i won't sleep for weeks cause i'll be watching the whole thing on CNN, MSNBC, Foxnews channel safe and sound from NJ.

Heh...funny thing is, I get more snow than you do to... 😀 I need a snowmobile 5 months out of the year to get out of here...
