Which generally could still be considered rape I believe, at least in GA. As far as I know, our state law says that if the woman has any alcohol in her system, you stand a chance of being brought up on rape charges should she decide to file a suit.

Something like that.

And you agree with that law?

So let's see, a girl get's drunk, takes a guy home, then sleeps with him. The next morning she realizes that she did and cries rape. Shocking. Boo friking hoo.

Does the same rape clause apply for men who are taken advantage of?

Heh. My ex's best friend was "the man" on campus. (MBA student) He supposedly nailed a large portion of the female undergrad population of Duke.

Uh, this sh!t happens all the time on college campuses. It is not unique to Duke.

Yeah, but we all know why this one is getting reported in the news 😀
QFT. Rapes happen all the time, I bet a ton of colleges had more than 2 reported rapes this semester. The media loves kicking someone when they're down.

Of course not. From the current point of view of society, any man that doesn't want sex is gay. Otherwise, he likes it no matter what happens.

This is the interesting part:
the accuser admitted she was drunk and could not provide too many details of what happened leading up to the alleged attack.

So... she could not provide details, she was drunk of her butt and now regrets what she did, so she cries rape. Sheesh.

My son went out into the bars last night, wearing a T-Shirt, that said:

Duke Lacrosse Team member.

The girls were all over him. 😉

Skanks, will be skanks.

I love our laws. Someone can change their mind hours or DAYS after the fact, and suddenly it becomes rape. Who knows if that happened in this case, but she admitted to drinking heavily, and couldn't remember very much. Maybe she was into it during the night, but then when she sobered up and realized what a slut she had been, changed her mind.

Either way, there should've been more pictures.

Yeah, no kidding.

I'd be willing to bet that tonight someone will be raped on a college campus, and AT will not have a thread about it.
