Hi, I used to know how to do this but I can't remember and I can't find info about it anymore. I originally had XP installed and I installed 98SE into another partition. Now I can't boot back up into XP. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
Ok, in this case, pop in your Windows XP CD and do a repair of the boot sector. I can't remember if that's exactly what it's called but you can repair the boot sector so the XP loader loads. The XP Loader should recognize Win98 and add it to the list. I think this will work for you.
Hey thanks for the help.
To be more specific for anyone else who might stumble upon this problem. Boot up from the XP cd and enter the repair console. The command is FIXBOOT which should solve the problem. It did for me.
