One of the big keys to success is using quality memory. You have Crucial, and thats what I used as well. I would also suspect that many of the problems result from not reading the manual. The order you install components and drivers is important with most any mobo. I think another thing might be not paying attention to which PCI slots are shared for sensative cards, and IRQ conflicts. If you look at other motherboards, and any peripheral in general there are ALWAYS people having problems, and the people with problems post much more than us happy campers.

I have installed many peripherals and now built my own PC. I have never had a problem with any of them. I research, I buy quality stuff, I read the manual, and I follow the directions. If you do that you are unlikely to have problems. I did have a dead hard drive a few years ago. Installed, partitioned, tried to format and it started making horrible noises and heated up enough that I couldn't touch it. Swapped for another of the same and was happy.

The only problem I see with your setup is the PIII 733EB, with that setup and RAM you could be running at 933 pretty easy with a 700E. :)
Do you have a url for Sunway? I bought my CPU/Mobo at mslcomputers.com and was very happy with them. They still have one of the better prices on the CUSL2 @ $142. They also gave me the numbers on the 700E I was buying so I could make sure it was a cB0.

SunWay Graphics..
It's a bit pricy, but shipping is decent.. Yeah, I think the key is really good ram... I just received two 850Es 8.5x100 from CompuCheap (RUSS #1) and didn't get a chance to run it in the CUSL2... but ran it in BX6R2 with no problems.

CUSL2 Rocks... can't live without it... retired my BX6R2 and gave it to my gf with a P2 300 SL2W8 @ 527MHz :)

I recently checked out four mobo's with my P3-700e... Asus P3V4X, CUV4X, CUSL-2, and an Abit SE-6.

All the Asus' were excellent boards. The SE-6... Let's just say that I couldn't return it fast enough.

Btw, the CUSL-2 is what's staying in my primary PC. ;)
