Ok this has been a bizarre day anyway. The freaking hailstorm dented the hell out of my car and I am going to have to file an insurance claim. Fastfoward to 11:15PM tonight. My cousin and his girlfriend got back from City Stages(music festival) and they came in and were telling us stories about a mutual friend that was drunk. Before he went to work we decided to take our dogs outside for a second to pee before he left. They were acting WILD outside as if someone was out in the yard or another animal was around. We didn't think much about it because that is a common occurrence.
Fastfoward 15 minutes. My cousin is leaving for work and I go outside with my friend to smoke a cigarette. We hear people talking and see two non-familiar cars parked right next to my friend's car. We see a group of four people standing outside one of the half finished houses that is being built in my neighborhood. We think nothing of it at first and just assume it is neighbors from the other side of the road. Well, we are still standing there and notice none of them look familiar. We ask them what they are doing and they don't answer. They come hauling ass down the hill(two of them) and get into a black truck and start to leave. They go down to the circle at the bottom of the hill and sit there. My cousin backs out and starts heading out. They pull out in front of him and then pull around to the other side of the house. They jump the curb and park in the middle of the grass island right next to the construction work. This is a little weird so we decide to call the cops. The cops come and they search both houses. Two people ran from the cops and they were hiding in the woods. They can't find them so they come down to my house to ask me for more info. Apparently one of the kids they caught lives three houses down. The other person they caught was a girl that was spending the night with him at his parent's house(yes they were there). These two halfwits snuck out and called their friends to come over. They decided it would be fun to smoke pot in the unfinished house. The cops smelled the pot all in the house, but couldn't find the other two people.
Well, one of the idiots who ran was the owner of the truck. Basically the cops just sat there until he came back from his hiding spot and then put him in the back of the car. They find a bag of weed, but decided to just seize it and not press charges(good because I didn't want them to press charges). One person is still hiding in the woods as we speak, but he too left his car at the scene right next to my fvcking house. So the cops got the tag and decided to leave. Everyone was released to their parents(including my dimwitted neighbor). The cops said they were getting their asses chewed out. Sidenote: it appears there was two agendas that night. There was three guys total and one girl. They were all attempting to get a piece of action from her and the two that were caught said that they DID get action from her. Guess she is going to be remembered as a slut.
I never wanted anyone to get in trouble, but I didn't know who the fvck these people were. We tried to ask them what they were doing and if they lived there, but they just moved to the opposite side of the street. If they would have said "hey I am your neighbor and we are just looking at these houses" I would have thought nothing of it and went back inside. Since they had been banging around inside the house and wouldn't answer I decided to call the cops. I feel sorry for the people in a way, but why couldn't they have just answered and not acted so goddamn suspicious? I didn't want them to get in trouble(unless they were vandalizing the house) and they didn't. The cops are just seizing the marijuana and waiting for the other guy to show back up. There was minor damage to a door in the house, but they have to wait for the landlord to decide what she wants to do about that.
This had been a crazy day for me.
