Another Contact question

i tried at the eyeglass store, could not do it in a reasonable time.,
stuck with glasses, have worn them since like 1969..
I like the Phot Gray lenses too,i don't have to carry sunglasses. LOL

About 2 weeks to do it well. The first day it took me almost 20 minutes to take them in and out, but by the end of the first week it was down to 3-5 minutes, now it's 30 seconds.

Couple days at most. Hard lenses are really fun to take out too. Pull the corner of your eyelid, then blink and they come flying out. Makes a great weapon when you're in a ninja fight unlike that crappy Discover2Go. 😀😛

Ouch.

the only hard thing about it is putting it on and taking it off

once you get use to it.. it's very simple.

oh yea.. amke sure you keep your lens clean.. if you get em dirty and pop em in your eye... it'll hurt like a mother

The first day I got them I had to have eye numbing drops to get them in, but after two weeks or so it got really easy. Less than a minute.

On average, how much does the cleaning solution cost? Any other things you need with contacts?
I'm not sure how much the cleaning solution costs. I think it's around $5 for the Multi-Purpose solution I use.

I occasionally use an enzymatic cleaner on mine. They are just little tablets that dissolve in the reg. multi-purpose solution and then you let the contacts soak in it. It removes the protein that builds up on the contacts that can make them blurry and uncomfortable to wear. I use this enzymatic cleaner and it works well. Another good thing to have are rewetting drops. They help keep the contacts nice and moist so they don't irritate the eye. 😀

That's all I can think of right now. 🙂

My sister got used to them in around 3 days. Her eyes did get all red etc those first couple of days.

I use ReNu as well, great stuff. I spent $20 on 2 big bottles (like 500ml each) of the stuff, it's the only thing you have to use to clean your lenses (CDN $)
