So after class yesterday, my friend from jersey came up from southern vt to head up to montreal. We head straight to the blackjack table, and I immedatlely lose 150 bucks cdn. I said to myself, screw this, I need more money and took another 100 out of the bank. What happened in the next few hours was insane. I moved over to the 25$ tables and won almost every hand. I am slapping high fives to everyone on the table, and everyone was up thousands. Next thing I knew it was 7:30 and I was up 1200 bucks :p We decided to go to dinner and droped 65 bucks :p. Went back to the same table, won a little more, then lost about 200 bucks. I ended up about 700 american up.

If this is the first time you've gone, I'd stop there and count your blessings. :D

Good job, er I mean, great luck :p

I was just at the bacarrat table yesterday. Went in with $1k, which was the pot I won from my 2 weeks there. Lost the whole damn thing. Lots of bad luck. Whenever I had 8 other party would have 9, or when I had a 7 the opponent had an 8, or when they had a one we had a big fat zero!!! Worst luck ever. Took out another $700 and ended up at the end of the night recovering $975 of the original $1k I went in with.

Made a brave/foolish $500 hand bet and actually won. What a roller coaster ride. Last 3 days was very similar as well. Always start out being five six seven hundred dollars down, then ending up catching up and evening out my losses.

No doubt. Like I say, it was the casino's money I won earlier anyways. But thinking back, I could've lost all $1700 I had in just one night. CCrazy! But hey, I got my day's worth of a rush.

I went to Vegas a few weeks ago and in the first hour one of us was up 500, another up 200 and another up 40 and I told them all to walk away. Well, they all got greedy and one guy went down slowly and kept going to the ATM to get more money out. He lost about 1600 that day and the dealer was making fun of him calling him mr 100 cause he kept cashing out 100's, maxed out his cash advances, used his backup money. Everytime he'd change out another 100 the dealer would yell the amount...800! 900!

Anyways, my other friend ended up losing about 1000 in that 4 hour period. They gave us a steak dinner...so all we got was a 2600.00 steak dinner. We sat at the table for 3 hours getting wasted, ordering shrimp cocktails over and over, deserts we took 1 bite out of. One of my friends ordered the whole 40.00 Peking Duck. The rest of us had Filet Mignon's. I think we ran up a 600.00 bill...so we paid 2000.00 for a steak dinner.

This is why I hate gambling and wont play unless I learn how to card count really well or I bet low amounts. I had this theory that if I went up really quick more than 50% of my original bank roll i'd quit because if I kept playing the house would have the odds. If I went down a lot I'd keep playing until I evened out because if you keep playing perfect blackjack house odds are only 1 or 2%. Well, I didn't have the patience for it...

I quit gambling after winning a few grand on blackjack only to lose $1000 on a baccarat bet. What are the odds, banker gets 3 Queen of Hearts and Player wins with a damn 1.

it has the best odds of all casino games..

its a game where you can control the outcome (hit, split, double down, etc)
