Another card vendor to use 7900GTs in AGP?

If this is just a 7800GS that is die shrinked, I don't really see the point. Sure, it'll probably overclock better and maybe run a little cooler, but if they are going to use G71, at least don't disable 8 pipes . . .
 
Hmm, that's interesting, but if Leadtek is going to just castrate their G71 7800GS to perform just like a regular 16-pipe, 8 ROP 7800 GS, then it's pointless.

if its not castrated, still not a good idea

driver issues already rampant on 7800GS can only get worse, not to mention heat issues

and the fact that 7800GS isnt very leniant to cooling solutions because of the HSI

driver and heat issues?

my wife's runs great, oc's to 480 on the core, and no driver issues whatsoever.

same driver as the rest of the line, so why would it be bad on agp only?
