This is what the Matrix should have been. A nicer interior with the fold flat rear seats. I don't like the exterior, but then again I don't like the Matrix either.

This should have been the Scion xA IMHO.

Well, considering that you spend 99% of the time with your car IN the car, the interior is one of the MAIN things that I look at. That's one of the reasons why I would NEVER buy an Altima.

Yeah, but you spend just as much time driving the car. Driving sensation/experience is extremely important. If you want a sofa and an entertainment center, stay at home.

That's why I think that Camrys are such POSs. Accord >>>>>>> Camry

I like the idea of this type of car, and the interior does look nice. However, I really don't care for the exterior. It's actually uglier than the Matrix IMO (although it's better than either Scion).

First off, like several other new Toyotas, it sports too-large headlamps that seem to practically touch the A-pillar. The profile's not too bad although the wheels look tiny. I don't like the mini-schnoz up front, and the taillights are particularly hideous. I guess it doesn't matter since we'll never see it in the States, though.

When I'm driving in traffic, do you think I give two sh!ts about handling or slalom speeds? All I care about is a comfortable ride and a quiet interior. My daily routine normally encompasses driving 10-15 miles in traffic (plenty of stoplights) and weekend trips of about 250 miles round trip on the interstate.

I don't encounter any race tracks or skidpads on the way so do I give a crap? Nope! :D So for me, Camry > Accord :D

You might as well be driving with a PS2 controller. At least you'll get some feedback.

Camrys and Accords are not sports cars. If I want feedback, I'll go buy a 350Z or a Miata.

All versions of the new Corolla Verso will be equipped with seven seats and, uniquely in its class, all five rear seats will fold into the vehicle floor to provide a flat load area
Nice.

You've never driven an Accord have you? Do yourself a favor and test drive the new Camry and Accord back to back.

I've driven late model Accord EX's and Camry SE's. Neither will knock your socks off. But then again, I just drove them down the street and on the highway...the same way that 800,000 other people a year drive them :)

The xA is much smaller than the Matrix, no? The folks in the VWVortex thread are saying this car is extremely similar to the Matrix in size. I mean, it couldn't be much smaller if it has a third row of seats.

So the streets that you drive on don't have left or right-hand turns, and the fwy onramps aren't curved? :D

How hard is it to take a left-hand or right-hand turn at 15 - 20 MPH? Hell, a Geo Metro can do that.

You lie! A Geo Metro can't even reach those speeds!

And I'd like to see you take a right-hand turn at 20mph in a new Camry. That thing has more body roll than Oprah.

TuffGuy is right on this one Brandon :p Accord >>>>>>>>>>>>> Camry by a long shot. The only thing better about the Camry over the Accord is the smoothness of the ride. There isn't another damn thing about the Camry that's better than the Accord. Before I bought my Accord, I test drove the Accord, then the Camry. There was no comparison whatsoever. If you're basing your late model comparison off the 02 Accord then do yourself a favor and go test drive an 04 and see for yourself.

I like it!!! Why cant we get cool cars like that???

my 95 Geo Prizm LSI is almost at 200K miles and i have been window shopping for a repacement. I like the corolla because of its fuel efficency and reliability. I have not had one thing happen or go bad on my GEO.

If they're not releasing that corolla in the US, why are they producing a LHD car when like 90% of the cars there are RHD?
